Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Doro Rides. By downloading our app, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Doro Rides.

1. ABOUT DORO RIDES

Doro Rides is a Pakistani ride-hailing platform operated by Doropk Group – Doro PVT LTD, a company registered in Pakistan with SECP, FBR, IPO, Punjab Transport Department, and licensed as a Transport Network Company (TNC).

Our platform connects passengers (riders) with independent drivers (captains) through our mobile application and website.

2. ELIGIBILITY

To use Doro Rides you must:

 Be at least 18 years of age

 Have a valid Pakistani phone number

 Provide accurate and truthful registration information

 Not have been previously banned or removed from the platform

Drivers/Captains must additionally:

Hold a valid Pakistani driving license

Own or have authorised use of a roadworthy vehicle

Hold valid vehicle registration and insurance

 Pass Doro Rides' background verification process

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password

You must not share your account with any other person

You must notify us immediately at support@dororides.com if you suspect unauthorised access

All activity under your account is your responsibility

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. BOOKING & RIDES

Riders:

 Ride requests are sent to available nearby drivers. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

 You must be at the confirmed pickup location at the time of booking

 You may cancel a ride before a driver is assigned without charge

 Cancellations after driver assignment may incur a cancellation fee

You must treat drivers with respect. Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour will result in account suspension

 You must not request rides for illegal purposes

Maximum passengers per vehicle must not exceed the vehicle's legal capacity

Drivers/Captains:

You must be physically present and fit to drive when accepting rides

You must follow all Pakistani traffic laws and road safety regulations

You must not use a mobile phone without hands-free while driving

 You must maintain your vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition

You must not discriminate against riders based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or location

 You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Doro Rides

5. FARES & PAYMENTS

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surge pricing

Estimated fares are shown before booking final fare may vary due to route changes or waiting time

Payment methods accepted: JazzCash, EasyPaisa, credit/debit card, and cash (where available)

All fares include applicable government taxes

 Receipts are sent via app and email after every completed trip

 Disputed fares must be reported within 48 hours via the app or support@dororides.com

 Doro Rides deducts a service fee from each fare before remitting to the driver

6. SURGE PRICING

During periods of high demand, fares may increase. You will always be shown the estimated fare before confirming your booking. Confirming a booking during surge pricing means you accept the higher fare.

7. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Riders:

 Free cancellation within 2 minutes of driver acceptance

 A cancellation fee applies if you cancel after 2 minutes of driver acceptance

 Refunds for overcharges or service failures will be processed within 5-7 working days

Drivers:

 Excessive cancellations may result in account penalties or suspension

Drivers must not request riders to cancel on their behalf

8. RATINGS & FEEDBACK

Both riders and drivers are rated after each trip (1-5 stars)

Ratings are used to maintain service quality

Drivers with consistently low ratings may be suspended or removed

Riders with low ratings or reported misconduct may be restricted from the platform

Fake or malicious ratings are prohibited

9. SAFETY

Doro Rides provides an in-app emergency button connected to emergency services

All drivers undergo background and documentation verification before onboarding

Ride details (driver name, vehicle, route) can be shared with trusted contacts via the app

Any safety incident must be reported immediately through the app or at support@dororides.com

Doro Rides cooperates fully with Pakistani law enforcement in safety investigations

 Weapons, drugs, and illegal items are strictly prohibited in all vehicles

10. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

The following are strictly prohibited on the Doro Rides platform:

Physical or verbal abuse of drivers, riders, or Doro Rides staff

 Sexual harassment or inappropriate behaviour

 Damage to vehicles

 Fraudulent trip requests or payment fraud

 Creating fake accounts or manipulating the rating system

 Using the platform for illegal activities

Soliciting drivers to work outside the app

Sharing your account credentials with others

Violations may result in immediate and permanent account termination and reporting to Pakistani law enforcement.

11. LOST ITEMS

 Doro Rides is not responsible for items left in vehicles

 If you leave an item, contact support immediately we will connect you with your driver

Recovery of lost items is not guaranteed

A retrieval fee may apply for driver time

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Doro Rides is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers. Therefore:

 Doro Rides is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damage occurring during a trip

 Doro Rides is not liable for driver conduct beyond what is within our reasonable control

 Doro Rides is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fare paid for the trip in question

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequent

Registered with the Intellectual Property Organisation of Pakistan (IPO)

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission

User generated content (reviews, photos) may be used by Doro Rides for service improvement

14. PRIVACY

Your use of Doro Rides is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at dororides.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions as our services evolve or legal requirements change. We will notify you of significant changes via app notification or email. Continued use of Doro Rides after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts

-We encourage users to first contact us at support@doro.pk to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action

Consumer complaints may also be directed to the relevant Pakistani regulatory authority
